Aston Villa newcomer Charles N'Zogbia is confident he will be up to match sharpness in time for the Barclays Premier League opener with Fulham this weekend. N'Zogbia has had a truncated pre-season after being involved on international duty for France and he was on holiday in Dubai before completing his move to Villa two weeks ago. Villa boss Alex McLeish has expressed concerns over N'Zogbia's match fitness but he impressed during the weekend friendly with Sporting Braga. The former Wigan player said: "I feel I need to work a bit more on my physical fitness but I have been training every day and I'm fine. "I just need to play the games now. I'm feeling good. I'm going to be working hard this week. "I feel fit and now it's just a matter of working with my team-mates, learning on the training ground and making it happen in the games."
