Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti believes his team must be at their best if they are to end Juventus' unbeaten run this season.

Fans can expect a thrilling game at the Stadio Olimpico with both sides having enjoyed strong starts to the campaign.

Juve and Lazio are level on 22 points and the Turin giants lead the Serie A standings on goal difference and with a game in hand.

Lazio have lost just once in Serie A this season - a 2-1 defeat to Genoa on September 18.

However, Marchetti is aware of the challenge he and his team-mates face to stop a Juve side that has shown few weaknesses so far.

"Antonio Conte's team is in great form," Marchetti said.

Roberto Mancini will not give up on Manchester City's Champions League challenge but claims they are not good enough to win the competition.

The Barclays Premier League leaders now face an uphill task to reach the knockout stage of Europe's premier club competition after a shattering defeat at Napoli on Tuesday.

Mancini's side must now beat Bayern Munich in their final Group A fixture and hope already-eliminated Villarreal can claim their first points of the competition against Napoli to progress.

Mancini said: "We hope we can beat Bayern Munich and Napoli can lose a point at Villarreal but I think we should be realistic.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini insists he never had major issues with Craig Bellamy and would be pleased to see the striker prosper at Liverpool.

The Wales international rejoined Liverpool in August after being told he did not feature in Mancini's plans.

Bellamy shone for the club early in his City career but started to fall out of favour after the appointment of Mancini in December 2009.

He spent last season on loan with npower Championship side Cardiff and later revealed how he and Mancini had differed in their opinions of his best training schedule. The 32-year-old has a long-standing knee problem which requires careful management.

Tevez agent hints at Milan move Print E-mail

Carlos Tevez's advisor Kia Joorabchian has opened up the possibility of the controversial striker joining AC Milan.

Joorabchian had productive talks with the Milan hierarchy as part of the first tentative stages towards securing Tevez's exit from Manchester City.

It is unlikely the discussions will trigger an immediate bid, although it may push Inter Milan and Juventus into making their own interest known.

However, City are aware of developments and are relaxed about the prospect of them proceeding, whilst all the time stressing they would only be interested in a direct sale, not a loan, and then only if the price suited them.

Joorabchian realises fulfilling that requirement will not be easy, which is why even he is not going overboard about the present position, beyond acknowledging Milan, seven-times European Cup winners, fit the criteria of club Tevez would like to join.

Andre Villas-Boas says club owner Roman Abramovich has not imposed a deadline to turn Chelsea's season around, despite facing four defining games in the next fortnight.

The beleaguered Blues host Wolves on Saturday knowing anything other than victory could see them slump to seventh in the Barclays Premier League by the end of the weekend or slip even further behind leaders Manchester City.

Chelsea then welcome Liverpool in the Carling Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night before facing Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday week.

Lastly, and arguably most crucially, comes their final Champions League Group E match against Valencia the following Tuesday, which they must win or draw 0-0 to avoid crashing out of the competition.
